I don’t think this newspaper could give more information about job vacancies, today paper has just the same column of job as the other days within this week – nothing new. Whilst, I have been in job search since I was laid of from the factory after I had worked there for almost 4 years. It was not a short time until they simply fired me with neither reasons nor excuses. This is of course causing some big impacts to all of my co-workers who got the same fate as I did. Yet for me, I don’t have to be in that kind of strikes because there is no use after all. The most important thing for me is to get another job at the soonest.
I move to my working table where my PC is always ready to assist any jobs I get and good connection of internet is always there to bring me wherever I want. But this time, I wonder whether there are some online jobs available in this town. I could assist people with my two main tools; PC and mobile phone. I have done some online activities to add my income by writing some articles, redirecting purchasing and selling of cars, motorcycles, clothes and others. These are all just for a side job of mine as a freelancer. I like these activities but I don’t concentrate much on them because the profits are apparently timing and arbitrarily low; sometimes I don’t get any from the job I have done. Well, that is the life of a freelancer.
Apparently, the job search engines of the internet work very excellent that I find too many job offers on my computer display either for local or for other cities; even more, there are some vacancies from other countries. The jobs there are sometimes interesting because we here don’t get accustomed to the job. I often find a job that suits me but I don’t think I could move to Argentina or Namibia just to get the job. Simple but promising job here in Southampton is just enough for me. My words are always the one you know; home sweet home…
